Bovington Tank Museum - 6th April 2009

Blessed with good weather seven bikes made their way Bovington, Dorset.
We did a little detour (wrong turn?) via Tollpuddle where we were greeted by the local Community Constabulary with their toy guns (radar), but being good boys we were already observing the village speed limit whilst admiring the local architecture. Who knows, the penalty could have been exportation to Australia following in the footsteps of the Martyrs?

The tank Museum has certainly changed since I were a nipper! A new building including a cafe; a little expensive but handy.

Before we had a look around inside, there was some action outside in the arena. The dasterdly Mulvaineons try to invade, but there were soon overpowered and surrendered.

The museum is nicely laid out with an impressive array of hardware.

It seems that Bill is famous here too! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The Mob.... Everyone had a great day at the Museum, so a return trip is planned later in the year.

The ride back via some beautiful sweeping B roads was a must, ofcourse.

A good one!
